LETTERS TO PALESTINE 💌 Friends & fam, join us on Sunday Oct. 18 11-5pm as we collectively write letters to Palestinians that will be hand-delivered next month by a local community member 🫶🏽

Inspired by Palestinian Matriarch Samer who said: “We don’t just need money, we need love, to be seen, to have our stories heard.”

This day will include:

🍯 Pick-up of pre-ordered baked goods from @meezan_kitchen Honey Bake Sale - a fundraiser to send Palestinian beekeepers to the International Conference for Arab Beekeepers 🐝

Friday October 23, please join Ellie and me at Yesfolk in Troy from 5-7! Ellie will lead us in exploring Continuous Fermentation, and beginning our own living community time capsules.

This informal workshop will consider ideas around celebration, fermentation and rituals. We will reflect how fermentation jars can be storytelling tools. This practice is part of a broader approach in history and one we need right now, for community building and community sustaining.
